🌟 Barcelona Carnival

Many cities around the world will be in full carnival mode this month, including Barcelona! Time to dance and enjoy the different cultural events. The week of the celebrations is marked by ‘Fat Thursday’ (‘Jueves Lardero’) and ends on Ash Wednesday the following with a traditional ceremony in which sardines are buried to symbolise the beginning of the fast.

🌟 Llum BCN

LlumBCN is Barcelona Light Festival, part of February’s Festes de Santa Eulalia (children’s winter festival) in Barcelona. LlumBCN showcases the beauty of Barcelona’s iconic builidings illuminated by night. There are special light installations and walking routes in Barcelona during the light festival.

🌟 Barcelona Half Marathon

Take part with many others – or come along to support! Barcelona is a city that celebrates outdoor lifestyle and this event is a highlight for runners out here!

🌟 Valentine’s Day

When we think of February, what comes to mind? This is the month to celebrate love – And this city is full of places where you can plan a romantic day. With or without a partner, this month is special for enjoying the wonderful things that bring us pleasure, Self love and joy ♥

 🌟 Guitar Festival BCN

This will be Barcelona’s annual Guitar Festival. Known as Festival de Guitarra i Altres Acords – Barcelona. This Festival is spread out over the year, in different locations. A huge spectrum of artists – such as Buena Vista Social Club, Caetano Veloso & Gilberto Gil, Noel Gallagher´s High Flying Birds and Amaral among many others. Concert series from February to June.
